Fish Passage Efforts in the Russian River Headwaters

The North Coast Coho Project and the California Water Project staff are collaborating on strategies to improve water quality and streamflow while addressing important barriers to steelhead and salmon in the Russian River Watershed.  One project that is currently under development addresses two fish passage barriers on Mariposa Creek, an upper  Russian River  watershed tributary.
